Salary: £26,000 per year+ Bonus

Our client has its Head Office in Sheffield and is a £130m turnover company. Their principal objectives are the manufacture of smokeless solid fuel and the sale and distribution of solid fuels, which includes the manufactured product as well as coal, logs, charcoal and sundry items. Their products are sold directly to domestic customers and to retailers through a 25+ depot UK distribution network as well as to fuel wholesalers, merchants and to the export market.

They have an exciting opportunity for x2 Customer Sales Advisors to join their Customer Service Centre on a permanent, full-time basis working Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm).

Calling both new, existing and lapsed customers in order to generate new sales, make appointments and promote our client’s offers, you will also be answering inbound telephone calls regarding ordering their solid fuel products when required. Proactively identifying potential sales opportunities from inbound calls, whether this be increasing the volume of an order or selling other related products from our client’s diverse range, you must deliver a quality service whilst maintaining performance against expected targets.

IT literate and with proven experience of working within a customer service call centre environment, you should have strong influencing skills and be able to handle customer complaints effectively and efficiently. An excellent communicator, your assertive and persistent attitude will mean that you are driven and committed to achieving the best result, excelling both individually and as part of a team to meet targets.
