IT Support Engineer – Chester

( Windows / Server / Active Directory / SBS / MySQL / Exchange / VMware )

My successful client is looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer to support a customer base within a 50 mile radius of Chester. My client has an extremely high customer service ethic & is very client facing, so excellent communication skills are required. They are ideally looking for someone who has came from a consultancy background where you will have had previous experience supporting external users, not just an internal IT department.

Technically you MUST be able to demonstrate experience in installing, maintaining and fault finding on:

Windows Server 2003 / 2008
Active Directory
Exchange Server 2003 / 2007 / 2010
SBS 2003
Windows XP / Vista / 7

Duties will include:

Providing high level support (2nd / 3rd line) to customers and onsite staff
helpdesk services
Managing customers critical systems
Management of internal systems and private cloud

*STD Working Hours: 09.00 – 17.30 Mon-Fri but on please apply weekends ( 1 in 4 )*
