Fluent Mandarin Finance Manager

Salary: £144,000 per year

Our client is looking for a Fluent Mandarin Finance Manager to join their London Office.

It is essential for all applicants to have worked in financial services within the UK, to have a through understand of UK regulatory reporting

The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the management of the branch’s liquidity, and for the production and integrity of the branch’s financial information and its regulatory reporting in respect of its regulated activities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• To be overall responsible for smoothly running of Finance and ALM function, and ensure that the bank strategy is being met.
• Responsible for branch asset and Liability management and specifically liquidity risk management.
• Responsible for accurate and timely submission of Liquidity information to the ALCO, Head Office and the PR.
• Financial Accounting
• Responsible for all financial reports for Local and Head Office reporting.
• Responsible for all regulatory and statistical reports to the Bank of England PRA and FCA,FSA and CBRC.
• Responsible for all returns required by HMRC
• Ad hoc requirements

Skills and knowledge
• Qualified accountant who has graduated from a reputable university.
• Bilingual and able to write in both English and Mandarin.
• Current experience working as Head of Finance role in a small UK branch or senior Finance position in a financial institution
• Demonstrable experience in leading a small team in UK while working closely with China based colleagues.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skillset.
• Experience in working in a small team with hands-on experience.
