Sustainability & Building services Project Manager

At an exciting time of development and expansion for the company, our Store Construction department is at the forefront of ensuring the infrastructure is in place to facilitate our ambitious plans. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and hard-working Project Manager to oversee the development and roll out of MEP / Sustainability projects across Lidl GB.

What you’ll do

Manage the strategy and implementation of Lidl’s solar photovoltaics roll out
Manage and co-ordinate external suppliers and internal stakeholders for our ambitious electric vehicle charging roll out plans
Be part of the design team responsible for creating the UK Corporate Building Specifications, liaising with internal stakeholders and our external Design Consultants.
Managing relationships with external contractors and suppliers
Managing assigned project plans and deadlines
Reporting on the progress of projects to the senior team

What you’ll need

Degree-level (or equivalent) education in a Building Services discipline or Construction related
Relevant practical Building Services experience is beneficial
Ownership of project progress, budgets and experience in national roll outs
Exposure to contracts management or site experience desirable but not essential
The ability to multi-task and handle conflicting deadlines
Experience with Solar/EV installation/roll outs
Excellent organisational skills
Clear and effective communication skills
Equal comfort working within a team and on your own
German speaking is advantageous but not essential
