Assistant Accountant

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant/ Finalist Accountant North of Leeds who is in the later stages of CIMA, ACA, ACCA or similar.
Due to company expansion this is a newly created all round Management Accountant/Assistant Accountant role where you will have ownership of your own work and have exposure and development in all aspects of Financial and Management Accounts. This is a great opportunity to work for a rapidly growing business that has grown organically and through acquisition over the last 12 months.

The business is easily accessible by road with free parking, so would suit anyone travelling from Harrogate, Selby, Ripon, Weatherby and North Leeds.

THE JOB:

Reporting to the Financial Controller your duties will include

The Production of Management and Financial Accounts for review
Producing Weekly P & L & KPI reports
Cost Accounting and variance analysis
Have ownership of the monthly balance sheet
Control Accounts reconciliations
Managing the Fixed asset register
Assisting with year end Audit THE BENEFITS:

This is an urgent requirement to start ASAP, salary up to £36,000+ benefits including study support and progression.

You must have current experience producing full sets of Accounts and be currently studying an accountancy professional qualification and close to being fully qualified.
