About The Role
Hybrid role – 2 days a week in the office, 3 days a week at home.
Overall Job PurposeEngage with internal customers to understand business requirements
Build automated reporting solutions and analytics supporting the Customer Service and Adviser Servicing divisions using the most appropriate technology available.
Automation of market leading MI/insight packs, bringing together all operational KPI’s and metrics produced on a daily, weekly & monthly basis.
Interaction with all other analytical teams, business intelligence teams, IT teams, and others, to enure the required data is provisioned.
Accountability for the validity, clarity, effectiveness, and integrity of analysis
Supporting non-analytical teams with interpretation and decision-making based on analytics work
Integration of internal/external data to enhance our existing data, where appropriate
Identifying anomalies and data issues and developing solutions to improve overall reporting
AccountabilitiesExperience with MS SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and querying using T-SQL
Understanding of relational database architecture
Experience using data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.) to create reports and dashboards for self-serve reporting
Create and deliver regular accurate and effective reports with limited guidance
Utilise a variety of tools (SQL, Power BI, Excel & VBA) to develop MI reports & analysis packs
Ensure that all reports originating from the department are accurate, on time and reliable.
Enhance and maintain automation of reporting through VBA and Visual Studio
Develop and investigate the applicability of new data extraction techniques and tools to support the team.
Skills RequiredImpeccable analytics, including excellent SQL and Excel
Moderate VBA skills are also required
You should be able to communicate complex analytical concepts and results using a variety of methods (conference calls, PowerPoint presentations, data reports)
Experience of using variable data sets to yield credible, effective insights
A proven understanding of or interest the UK healthcare system
