Workshop Manager

Salary: £34,272 per year

We are recruiting for a workshop manager for an expanding manufacturing/fabrication client in the Aberdeen area.
The main purpose of the role will be to manage and run the Workshop. Carry out and review quotes for fabrication and engineering projects and to assist senior management with sales activity and budget forecasting.
Duties will include but not be limited to:-
Managing workshop on a daily basis.
Manage all workshop staff.
Raise fabrication quotes and assist with general quote enquires.
Maintain and manage client and supplier relationships,
Ensure all staff have and receive training required.
Ensure all HSEQ processes are in place and staff are aware and adhere to.
Prepare monthly sales and P & L reports.
Maintain stock levels and control.
It is essential applicants have a fabrication background are competent of welding and fabrication cost estimating. They must also have a experience of managing fabrication and workshop teams. It would be advantageous to have experience in assembly and manufacturing.
