Water Treatment Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor – South East

This expanding and thriving water treatment company that specialises in all water treatment and water hygiene disciplines is actively recruiting for a smart and conscientious Water Treatment Engineer/Legionella Risk Assessor in the South East and would include applications from London, Surrey, Middlesex and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

Ideally, will hold the City & Guilds or WMS certificate or relevant qualification.
Previous working experience within the water treatment/hygiene/Legionella industry.
A good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation with regards to water services is required.
Be flexible and have the ability to work independently.
Demonstrate good communication skills, both written and verbal.

The Role:

Conducting the routine sampling and analysis of water systems and recording the results.
Occasionally doing legionella risk assessments to ACOP L8.
To establish a good relationship with the company’s portfolio of new and existing clients.
Temperature monitoring, shower head cleans and TMV servicing.
Providing recommendations, quotations, routine control measures and carrying out such works.
Understanding of schematic drawings of hot and cold water systems, cold water storage tank inspections.
Carry out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, cooling towers, disinfections, chemical dosing systems etc.
