Salary: £26,000 – £26,400 per year
WorkBank are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Website Designer who is looking for a new opportunity.
Your main responsibilities:
1. To produce advertising and microsites of a high standard.
2. To input into new business ideas from a creative, conceptual perspective, as necessary.
3. To keep abreast of industry developments and input with other team members and departments.
4. To produce accurate and high quality standard-compliant website content and design work/solutions in line with business requirements/specifications, including checking for sense, accuracy and completeness as appropriate
5. To adhere to and maintain systems and procedures to ensure optimum use of design studio facilities and resources
6. To ensure the production of all work to agreed schedules
7. To liaise and collaborate with colleagues and departments, as well as partners/clients as appropriate, or as instructed by your Manager, to ensure completion of all activity/work to agreed schedules and standards
8. To prepare and submit relevant, appropriate, and timely reports as required
Other responsibilities:
1. To represent our client to the highest standard to external partners and clients, as well as staff, at all times
2. To maintain a good general awareness and knowledge of industry and sector developments, researching and learning to contribute to the improvement of our products and services as appropriate
3. To adhere to organisational requirements for group policies, standards and procedures, quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care. This includes gaining an understanding of data privacy and risks within your role, and raising any identified data privacy and risk issues with Management
4. To produce accurate and high quality standard-compliant website content and design work/solutions in line with business requirements/specifications, including checking for sense, accuracy and completeness as appropriate
5. To attend meetings as required and contribute positively
6. To demonstrate personal commitment to the continuous improvement of our cleints products and services
7. To undertake any other reasonable task required by the Head of Event Partnerships and/or other senior manager
Person specification:
● Good understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, XHTML and CSS page layout
● A good understanding of the fundamentals of SEO would be advantageous.
● Good organisational and time management skills
● Good attention to detail
● Ability to prioritise key tasks, as well as the flexibility to adapt to changing demands in a fast moving and complex business environment
● Good communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to liaise with external partners/suppliers, as well as staff/internally as required
● Excellent written and verbal English
● Ability to work to deadlines
● Ability to work alone without supervision or as part of a team
● Ability to integrate creativity and innovation into working environment
● Good knowledge of Microsoft office
