Senior Creative Designer – Office D&b

Salary: £84,000 – £96,000 per year

One of my Tier 1 clients that has recently entered the market in Manchester is looking to expand their senior team in the creative department. You will be joining a young talented team that has already secured a large pipeline of work in the region. This is an excellent opportunity to further your career within the Office D&B sector in a role that is able to offer a large amount of career progression. You will be working directly under the Creative Director and involved in projects valued up to £5 million pounds. 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Working with Project Director to establish creative strategies for key projects.
• Motivate and influence the project team to always attain excellence in performance.
• Mentor junior and Mid weight designers to help them develop design ideas and execute design collateral as needed.
• Promote continual learning about new design software and marketplace trends.
• Ensure that codes and regulations are understood.
• Oversee good practise in drawing protocols, surveys and designers site activities.
• Ability to interpret program requirements, develop block plans, adjacency diagrams, space planning and detailed designs
• Coordinate all trades throughout the design and construction process
• Survey building interiors
• Able to obtain project information; fabrics, furniture, architectural elements.
• Prepare plans, specifications and bid packages
• Interior architecture and detailing for preparation of construction documents

Skills and Experience

• A proven track record of running and managing a team of people
• Must have at least 7+ years’ experience working in a Senior position
• within the interior design industry and able to showcase strong expertise of reacting to and determining clients’ needs
• Degree or HND educated
