Joinery /Building assistant Contracts Manager
Wakefield
£23,000 – £32,000 negotiable
We are working with a growing and successful company within the FM sector company, that specialize in mechanical, electrical and building services for the commercial and leisure sector. we are currently recruiting for an assistant contract manager to cover their Yorkshire based FM contracts, overseeing the day-to-day operations.
Assistant Contracts Manager – The role
You will assist the contract managers in the day to day running of the reactive works. manage the various onsite teams and selected sub-contractors, to ensure the agreed client KPI’s and SLAs are met whilst delivering service excellence. Reporting to both the client and the Account Manager you will motivate and lead the facilities team to deliver both innovation and cost savings, whilst maintaining the highest level of both service delivery and compliance.
ideally this would suit someone that is wanting to move from the joinery trade into management.
Qualifications:
Building Engineering Services or related Engineering Qualification at or equivalent to: City & Guilds In Carpentry or Building Maintenance Essential
CSCS (Desired Not Essential)
SMSTS (Desired Not Essential)
SSSTS (Desired Not Essential)
IOSH Managing Safely (Desired Not Essential)
NEBOSH National/ International Certificate (Desired Not Essential)
Membership of one or more of: CIBSE /IMechE /IET / BIFM (Desired not Essential)
Knowledge of vinyl flooring desirable.
