Production Manager – Electro Mechanical Assembly – West Sussex – c£37,000pa

An electro-mechanical manufacturing company are now recruiting for a Production Manager to manage a team of assembly workers and assist with the organisation’s operations management.

The Production Manager will manage 12 production / assembly team members; including setting department goals and objectives to ensure production time scales are meet, drive continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN methods, stock level maintenance and inventory reduction activities. In addition responsibilities include general operations management such as health and safety, warehouse and quality management.

To be considered for the position of Production Manager candidates will have experience in management of an electo-mechanical assembly team, knowledge of LEAN processes and have experience of health and safety, quality and warehouse management. In addition HNC / HND or Degree qualified in Business Management, Engineering Management or Manufacturing Management or similar commercial based qualification is desirable.
