Our client is an innovative Eco-construction company and a sole modular delivery partner.

They construct residential and commercial buildings using Structural Insulated Panel (SIP). What makes them innovative is that they build in their Portsmouth based factory which minimizes build times and maximizes quality of the product, they then deliver and install the pods on site in a matter of days.

They have an exciting opportunity for a Factory Based Manufacturing / Project Manager to work in their Portsmouth factory. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm. You will have 25 days holiday pa, plus bank holidays. The salary is expected OTE of £48,000 pa.

On a daily basis the position includes delegating duties to the joinery team for productivity on a daily / weekly / monthly; managing the team; ensuring CAD drawings are conveyed clearly to the team; liaising / reporting directly to the MD on technical matters; responsible for the factory environment; supervising delivery and installation of the pods to site.

The successful candidate will have significant proven track record within the construction industry and be able to read CAD drawings; have excellent communication and strong managerial qualities and organizational skills. Also ability to work under strict time constraints and ensure maximum output from the manufacturing / joinery team. Site project management and health and safety experience necessary. Plus driving license and own transport.

Must be able to start ASAP.
