Book-Keeper / Accountant with Manufacturing Background

Good opportunities for an accounts/book-keeper with a back ground in manufacturing engineering or aerospace background.

Credit control.
*Organise, monitor and report on stock take actions.
* Control and maintain the plant/fixed asset and capital equipment register.
* Be responsible for ensuring the necessary business insurance policies are maintained and that any changes required are transmitted to the insurance company to ensure adequate cover at all times.
* Be involved in the estimating/quotation process monitoring the financials regarding possible major programmes or high value/long term contracts.
* Assist in developing the company MRP/ERP system. (SAGE 200)
Completion of National Statistics returns.

* Experience
Experienced in a manufacturing environment preferably with an EN 9100 approved organisation.
* Computer literate, with good Excel skills and experience using an integrated MRP/ERP business system. (Preferably with SAGE 200 system)
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal and be comfortable interacting at all levels within the organisation.
* Be prepared to travel, as and when necessary, in support of the business.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Preferably degree qualified, and be either studying for, or qualified to CIMA/ACCA.
* Be enthusiastic and have an excellent and flexible work ethic and have a desire to develop themselves through exposure to new and varied tasks
