Team Manager

I have a fantastic permanent opportunity working as a Team Manager to be based in Bradford to plan organise and control the departmental work throughput based on Master Schedules and Flexible Working Agreement across multiple warehouse areas. To ensure work is carried out to agreed warehouse standards, and where appropriate, in line with the Bonus Agreement. Cross utilise resource between the function areas you are responsible for. To maximise the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the operation by continually reviewing and making changes where necessary.

Each candidate will be responsible to Manage production and performance across multiple disciplines. To achieve the set performance targets agreed within the objectives being set on a six monthly basis. You will increase quality and productivity through effective and efficient leadership. To provide the environment and the tools which allows staff to develop their skills and reach their full potential. Each candidate will achieve their targets agreed within their objectives which are set on a six monthly basis.

Skills required:

Operational or logistics background is essential, preferably within a large warehouse environment.
Proven track record of people management with a proactive approach to attendance management and performance issues.
Demonstrable record in change management through actively seeking and promoting change within the department and striving for continual improvement.
Practical application of technical skill and hands-on approach to problem solving.
Excellent interpersonal skills with first class communication and influencing skills..
Ability to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering solutions to ensure the achievement of the business goals
