The Person

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful track record as a Dealership General Manager and must be committed to achieving excellence. You need to possess the energy and ability to generate impressive results by increasing dealership performance, profitability, operating efficiency and CSI scores. You must have sound leadership and people management skills and your primary focus is to lead your team to deliver their business objectives, you will also have a solid grasp of financials relating to dealership performance. You will be expected to drive the business forward and maximise customer satisfaction whilst motivating and managing the whole team. You will be able to demonstrate that you share the company values and the ability to lead from the front whilst taking your team with you.

Knowledge and skills

Applicants must have worked in the retail motor dealership arena for the last 6 years and at a minimum achieved – General Manager and preferably have volume franchise car experience. Please bear in mind that you must be able to manage the relationships with the manufacturer and other suppliers and be able to analyse the accounts from within the dealership.
