Senior Environmentally Sustainable Design Engineer

Cento Personnel are recruiting for a Senior Environmentally Sustainable Design Engineer based in Manchester.

Cento are recruiting on behalf of a international multi-disciplined engineering consultancy who have an excellent opportunity for a Senior ESD Engineer to join their team where they will be responsible for being involved in the design of some of the most exciting sustainable design projects in the UK and across the World.

You will design, analyse, report, model and document Environmentally Sustainable Design projects with the aim of expanding the ESD project portfolio. You will work across a variety of sectors such as Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail and Residential.

The successful Engineer will hold a Degree level qualification in Engineering or Built Environment and have gained excellent experience in a relevant ESD Engineering position (thermal transfer, thermal comfort, daylight, air conditioning etc).

You will also have a good understanding of UK building codes and practices and have a passion for creative and intuitive design.

Experience in BREEAM would be advantageous.

Candidates must be client focussed and self motivated with excellent communication skills along with the ability to work on own initiative.
