Manager – Maintenance

Salary: £30,000 – £34,800 per year

We are currently looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Maintenance Manager to be part of our clients continuing expansion of their team.

As Maintenance Manager you will be working within the Transport Office overseeing Transport Operations and be responsible for our client’s Environmental Management System, overseeing all aspects of it.

The successful Maintenance Manager will be responsible for and not limited to:

* Maintenance of Environmental Management System (EMS) and documentation to ensure legal and client requirements are met.
* EMS training and awareness raising.
* Internal EMS auditing and performance reporting.
* You will be inputting data into a bespoke designed waste stewardess system and from this creating report for customers.
* You will cover a variety of administration duties and provide cover for staff holidays / absences.

Essentials skills required:

* Excellent IT skills – including use of drobox and all aspects of Microsoft Office.
* Excellent customer services skills.
* Clear Communication skills as you will be responsible for answering the telephone calls in busy periods and communicating with customers over waste / environmental matters.

The hours and days of work will be: Monday to Friday – 09:00hrs – 17:00hrs, however, some flexibility may be required.

Salary offered will be £30,000 – £34,800pa

Own transport will be required, due to location.

Previous experience in the waste / recycling industry is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
