Salary: £30,000 per year
As part of the graduate training programme, the Junior Software Engineer will be required to assist with development of new software products and support of existing software. Reporting directly in to a senior software engineer, the junior software engineer will work as part of the DPH IT Support and Development team.
Responsibilities
Writing C# code extensions
Developing SQL stored procedures and triggers
Table and View maintenance
Testing and quality control of your own code
Participating in peer reviews of other developer¡¦s code and SQL
Supporting the application (2nd and 3rd line support)
Participating in the development team support of our network and infrastructure as required
Documentation of code and SQL etc. to maintain good development practices
Microsoft Visual Studio
