Junior Application Support / Junior Software Support Analyst

Brilliant job for a Junior Application Support Consultant / Junior Software Support Analyst with good IT application software knowledge to forge a career in information technology and consulting working with clients over the phone and by email to resolve their software issues. You need to be confident, energetic, and enthusiastic and motivated and will have excellent customer service skills and a great telephone manner.

On offer is a starting salary of £26,000 – £30,000depending on your experience, plus company benefits and full product training in the company’s ERP and CRM software solutions as well as add-on products, to enable you to become a professional Software Support Consultant.

The company has a 20 year track record; they are extremely successful, with multiple UK offices and a great working environment and they are still growing. They work with state of the art technology helping their customers run their businesses more efficiently. You will be part of a lively, professional team of software support and implementation consultants, and will report to the Support Manager.

The role of Application Support Consultant involves providing 1st and 2nd line telephone, email and remote support for accounting, CRM and business management software to external clients as part of a professional, friendly and dedicated software support team. You will also give 1st and 2nd Line support for SQL databases, administration and maintenance, meeting company standards and SLA’s and logging your calls and documenting support issues through to resolution.

You will be mentored and coached whilst you learn the aspects of the software that you will support. In terms of your future career, you will be able to expand your technical experience and develop personally, and eventually move into consulting, project management, training, software sales or software implementation. If you have any previous experience of ERP, Accounting or CRM software this would be a bonus.

Your background:

*Any junior level IT Support with 6 months + experience supporting IT software applications at an end user site, or software reseller, or software consultancy
*Ability to understand client support issues and deliver good resolutions
*Bright, very keen to learn, motivated, enthusiastic, serious about your work
*Looking for a professional career in IT software and willing to go the extra mile
*Able to communicate well on the phone and by email with clients, with good problem solving skills and patience
*Dedicated to giving your clients’ the best possible experience and building relationships
*Good time management and able to manage your work load to set deadlines
*A real completer / finisher with attention to detail
*Reliable – able to turn up on time for work every day and give 100% commitment
