Due to continuing business growth and success we have a number of fantastic opportunities available to join the Bakkavor team, based at sites in Holbeach (PE12) or Boston (PE22), Lincolnshire. Both Day and Night shifts are available, working a Continental 2`s and 3`s shift pattern.

As a skilled operative you may be leading a processing line or managing a large piece of manufacturing equipment. It is likely you will be required to understand and monitor area performance through the use of KPI`s, complete traceability paperwork and carry out critical checks. Most of our facilities operate both High Care and Low Risk food production environments. Our environments can be busy, cold and wet, but your safety comes first and all Personal Protective Equipment will be provided for you.

The ideal Skilled Operative / Team Leader will:

– Be able to demonstrate a basic level of English for health & safety and communication, and be numerate
– Have experience of working in the food industry
– Be able to demonstrate how your skills can be adapted
– Have a specific skill from previous experience working in a factory environment
– Have previous mechanical or supervisor experience, looking for a career change or new opportunity
– Be enthusiastic and conscientious, who understands the principles and application of Food Safety
