About our Client:

Award winning and expanding group of companies who pride themselves on reward and recognition are currently looking for a Graduate Insurance Ecommerce Analyst to join their team in Whitstable. Ideal role for an analytical graduate Mathematics / Statistics / Economics / I.T.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the implementation of any new electronically traded products / schemes, maintain and distribute specifications in respect of required underwriting changes to internal and external business partners.

Ensure all EDI products are tested to a high standard in respect of all underwriting changes on both internal and external systems and resolve any live support issues relating to product performance.

Technical:

Efficiently carry out the following duties:
• Contribute to and work within the parameters and agreed processes of the e-Commerce Strategy.
• Monitor and deliver against agreed objectives, KPI’s and Service Levels in order to carry out responsibilities and meet agreed service and performance targets.
• Maintain knowledge in specialist area to improve understanding of technical issues.
• Develop and maintain required test plans / test scripts for our product range in conjunction with the e-Commerce Test Strategy.
• Record and communicate all errors ensuring full resolution achieved in conjunction with agreed procedures.
• Liaise with agents and / or software houses to activate and / or deactivate EDI products and allocate new policy number ranges on software house / bespoke systems.

– Maintain and develop positive / effective working relationships internally and externally.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Microsoft Excel Strong
• Microsoft Word Good
• Good negotiation skills
• Good communication skills, both oral and written

Education & Qualifications:

• Ideally educated to Graduate level or at least GCSE Level standard, and / or relevant experience
