Beauty NVQ / QCF Assessor

If your professional background is in the Beauty(Nails) sector, you have a relevant teaching qualification and you’re A1/TAQA qualified, you’re halfway there. We’re looking for a high-performing Beautician Assessor to join their team, who can also deliver Functional Skills and is comfortable designing, delivering and implementing units and lesson plans.

Beautician Assessor / Trainer: The essentials.

* Assessor qualification (A1, D32/D33, TAQA)
* Teaching qualification (PTLLS, or above)
* Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes
* Full UK driving licence and use of own car

Beautician Assessor / Trainer: Your experience.

* Minimum of 1 year assessing experience delivering Apprenticeship qualifications including Functional/Key Skills
* Occupational competency within the Beauty sector including Nails
* Accomplished in completing paperwork in line with SFA and Award Body guidelines
* Proven track record of successful completion of portfolios, with his success rates

Beautician Assessor / Trainer: The role.

* To deliver Beauty Apprenticeships level 2 & 3 to a caseload of learners in and around West Midlands, including Functional Skills level 2 in Maths, English & ICT
* Assessing learners within their place of work
* To plan, establish and sustain effective working relationships with both employers and learners
* Design, deliver and implement course units and lesson plans
* starting salary of £26,000 – £28,800per year(depending on experience)
* Full on-going CPD including opportunities to progress to an Internal Verifier
