Graduate or Assistant Quantity required by an exciting new design led, innovative developer who is part of a larger housing organisation who have been building homes for over a decade. This developer is starting a new venture and is now diversifying in to the private housing sector and they have major growth plans over the five years.

Across East London and Essex this exciting new developer is making a difference to individuals, couples and families, creating homes people love in places where they want to build their futures.
Currently in the process of creating a brand new commercial team, they now have a great opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in East London.

This role would be well suited to someone who has just completed their BSc in Quantity Surveying and is seeking their first role as a Graduate/Assistant Quantity Surveyor; or someone who is an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor and wants to progress their career within a fast based environment with a growing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assisting the development and Implementation of all pre and post contract strategies, commercial functions and contract reporting on delegated projects and work packages.

Skills and Knowledge: –

*Ability to form and develop relations with other client QS, design team and supply chain
*Commercial skills, maximising recovery, cost control and cash management
*Good interpersonal skills – ability to work effectively with site management and also the rest of the team
*Ability to use/understand financial reports and final accounts
*BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar degree
