Management Accountant

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

Anderson Knight is recruiting a Management Accountant position for a growing business based in Glasgow City Centre. Our client has seen recent growth due to the fact they have acquired several businesses within their sector.

There will be career progression to a Finance Manager position within 12 to 18 months of starting the role. Our client is wanting the individual to first join the organisation as Management Accountant, learn the sector, build relationships internally and learn internal processes to which there will be an opportunity to progress to Finance Manager.

The main responsibilities the Management Accountant position entails are:

* Preparation of monthly management accounts with appropriate variance analysis and commentary

* Preparation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations

* Assist the Finance Director with month end reporting duties

* Build relationships internally with the wider business

* Various ad-hoc duties

To be considered for the Management Accountant position you must possess the following:

* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)

* Strong communication skills

* A proactive approach to work

* The ability to solve complex problems

* A driven/motivated individual
