A global pensions and investment consulting brand that provide advice to private and public pension arrangements. The Senior Investment Analyst will work closely with Senior Investment Consultants that work on both Trust based DB & DC pension arrangements and play a key role in delivering a high quality client experience.

– Handling the preparation of performance monitoring reports, including receiving and reviewing data from investment managers to ensure quarterly deadlines are met
– Participating in the development of client deliverables
– Assisting in the preparation of letters and reports, Statement of Investment Principles and Asset Liability Reviews
– Assisting in completion of asset transfers
– Attaining billable hours objective by applying acquired skills in the production of client deliverables
– Liaising with clients and investment managers on data and administrative matters
– Managing client task lists to ensure day-to-day work requirements are being fulfilled
– Communicating client workload issues and seeking help, as needed, in setting priorities
– Responding to deadlines (from clients and more senior personnel)
– Checking work of other team members and ensuring own work is checked and reviewed as appropriate
– Assisting in the development of more junior members, by overseeing their preparation of work items
– Maintaining accurate time recording and charging to clients where applicable
– Staying abreast with applicable regulatory bodies and adhering to Corporate Policies and Procedures

You will be highly numerate and have ideally completed your CT / Actuarial examinations or hold CFA Level II and above. With strong knowledge of investment terms and concepts you with have an interest investment matters and markets. Holding a rich understanding of retirement plans, plan administration, investment markets, investment manager and Pension Plan valuations you will be comfortable in facing off to clients and want to further your careering within pension investment consulting.
