European IT Project Manager / Infrastructure

Due to the need for additional resources to support new projects within the European IT Team, our client is now seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to be based in the North East or North West.

Our client is a global leader in the design, development, manufacture and sales of acrylics and is the energy and driving force behind two of the world’s best known contemporary material brands.

As the IT Infrastructure Project Manager you will be responsible for managing infrastructure focused projects within their EMEA region, through scope, design and implementation phases, ensuring they are aligned with the wider IT strategic plan. With an ability to analyse business requirements and apply current technical knowledge and solutions, you will identify and implement technical options and process improvement opportunities. As you will be supporting the EMEA region regular travel throughout the UK will be required as well as occasionally within Europe.

With a degree (or equivalent qualification) you will have experience in a technical IT delivery and project management role where you will have developed strong interpersonal and communication skills. Your specialist knowledge will include Windows server, Network switch configuration, VLAN management, VOIP, WAN/LAN, server architecture and licensing together with IT security knowledge. Previous experience within an international manufacturing or supply chain environment would be an advantage.
