Engineering Design Engineer

Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year

Permanent role: Experienced Engineering Design Engineer for a family owned business based in Castleford.

What we would be looking for is the following:

· Project management skills

· Inventor software design package

· Workshop/fabrication design experience

Without these skills, especially the last two, then the Candidate will struggle to complete the role

The work involves:

· Going to site and taking measurements, then producing fabrication drawings for our workshops to manufacture

· Design of chemical plant utilising P&ID drawings

· Reverse engineering parts into our drawings system

· Utilising other companies drawings to make them compatible with our workshop requirements

This is just a very basic outline of what we require. Minimum 5 years in a similar role able to work on own initiative but happy to be part of a small Team.
