Live in Carer – End of Life Care

Salary: £600 per week

A great opportunity to work in care helping people in their own homes in Kent. My client prides themselves on always providing the best possible care to the people in their own home but they can only do that with the top quality staff they have that are every day on the front line of care. They are getting more and more people wanting support every day and so are expanding…. They have nearly 15 years experience as a solid reputation around the Kent area.

Due to expansion they are looking for a live in Carer dealing with end of life, you will be:-

* Working a 6-8 weeks contract as a live in carer providing end of life care for a bed bound lady

* Supporting them with pain medication, assistance with personal care, helping to with feeding them at meal times, and dealing wih the paperwork needed for them

* Given access to further shifts in live in care or dom care in the area if wanted

Benefits

* £600 per week with £40 per week food allowance

* 6-8 week contract with flexibility for extra work when you want it afterwards

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements

* You would need to able to pass a DBS check or have a valid DBS check (ideally on the update service)

* Living with travelling distance to Orpington in Kent

* NVQ Level 2 health and social care as a minimum

* Experience with end of life care would be very beneficial either from a live in background or care home background
