Facilities Transformation Manager UK&I – FTC 6-9 months – London – £80 – £100K plus benefits
A leading financial services organisation is urgently seeking a Facilities Transformation Manager to join them in their London offices. This role is initially a 6-9 month FTC with a view to making it a permanent position for the right candidate. You must be a polished communicator who has managed in a corporate facilities management environment of 5000 plus staff. Stakeholder management experience is essential as is a demonstrable track record in strategic FM. The right candidate will be able to work in a collaborative way with the supply chain to get the best outcome and output. Previous experience working across Europe would be an advantage in terms of managing different cultures.
Role Purpose & Impact
Accountable for the leadership and transformation of FM service delivery. Ensuring alignment with wider EMEA and global transformation.
Driving transformation and embedding best practice.
Ensuring continuity of BAU services, in a portfolio housing a significant proportion of the global Executive Leadership, whilst ensuring high levels of key stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
Responsibility for a budget of circa £8m.

Key responsibilities
• Lead the operational transformation and transition of FM delivery, whilst maintaining smooth BAU operations
• Ensuring seamless delivery of UK&I FM operations is fully aligned to EMEA and global strategy
• Manage key stakeholder relationships, have a sound understanding of business facilities requirements, gaining feedback and ensuring excellent end user satisfaction
• Ensure a safe, compliant and sustainable workplace
• Ensure continued delivery of environmental programmes
• Delivery of current and new initiatives key focusing on:
• Ensuring safe and effective post Covid RTO
• Integrate services historically delivered via different FM models
• Operational delivery and advocacy for the roll out of New Ways of Working and in addition a variety of new
systems and procedures
• Management of existing teams from two legacy backgrounds.
• Vendor management currently reflecting two historic models
• Budget management in the order of £8m in a portfolio of circa 5000 occupants in both London and regionally in UK&I
• Effective governance and escalation in support of the
incident management process
• Support and contribute to the development of future facilities strategies
• Effective liaison with other business groups – notably, technology, procurement and communications
• Key member of the EMEA FM team
• Contributor to environmental initiatives
Summary
• Strong track record of delivering FM transformation in a major corporate environment (multiple locations housing in the order of 5000 occupants)
• First class stakeholder and relationship management capability, ability to communicate effectively with senior Executive Management,
• Track record of creating positive mutually beneficial outcomes
Business and sector expertise
• Demonstrable commercial skills. (budget responsibility £5-10m)
• Proven track record in management of large outsourced FM contracts and FM transformation
• Client side experience and management of large outsourced contracts
