Management Accountant

Salary: £20.4 – £24 per hour

I am delighted to be working with a high-end brand operating within the retail and leisure industry in the recruitment of their Management Accountant

Management Accountant – About the Role

You will be a part-qualified / qualified accountant who is able to operate at management accountant level and support the Head of Finance in the running of the day to day finance function

* Preparing the monthly management account packs for the board of Directors with full commentary.

* Assist with quarterly forecasting

* Assist with annual budget process and ad-hoc business analysis

* Bank reconciliations. Balance sheet reconciliations

* Process accrual and prepayments and other management accounts accruals

* Assisting and covering the payroll process when required

* Analysis and reporting on P&L expenses

* Business partner will all areas of the business

The successful Management Accountant will be:

* Currently operating at management accountant level

* Able to demonstrate the ability to produce a set of month-end accounts with commentary

* Have the ability to work unsupervised

* Experience of reconciling balance sheet accounts

* Strong analysis skill with the SQL highly desirable

* Experience of using payroll and finance software

* Strong verbal and written communication

* The ability to work as part of a team and muck in when needed

* Professional, diligent and a brand ambassador

* Experience of working in a multi-currency environment.
