QA Tester – Software / Hardware / Web Testing

Marcus Donald People are currently looking for a QA Tester with experience with Software, Hardware and Web Testing. This is initially a 6 month contract but there is a chance for the right candidate to extend. You will take up the important role in testing mobile devices, web applications/interfaces and take on QA responsibilities.

The successful candidate can expect to be involved in both manual and automated testing; producing, reviewing and maintaining system test plans and identifying and suggesting improvements in all aspects of the system.

To Qualify:
– Strong commercial experience (at least 4 years) in web application / interface testing, and ideally also mobile device testing.
– Solid experience in a structured test environment.
– Expertise and fluency in synthesizing knowledge into clever, innovative testing solutions.
– Self-directed, pro-active, smart, problem solver. 
– Super efficient, with an excellent eye for detail.
– Very competent in use of software generally.
– Strong communicator, enjoys working in a team. 
– Automated testing tool experience.

Advantageous:
– Selenium experience
– Any scripting / programming or SQL knowledge
– ITSO, EMV, smartcard knowledge.

Communication skills are important and clear written and verbal skills are compulsory.
