Job Profile
As the successful Quality Manager you will be working closely to the Managing Director to ensure all quality procedures and tests are carried out to the clients requirements. You will be working alongside a friendly and welcoming team of other highly skilled engineers offering a stable and well-structured.
Duties
* Managing all quality processes through the business working to AS9100 standards
* Working closely with clients to ensure their requirements are met
* Liaising with other departments within the business about quality standards
* Manage and develop the quality culture within the business
* Managing and writing FAIRs reports
* Implement the quality management process, strategy and plans, including management of resources
* Monitor and report on all quality processes through the business
* Drive continual improvement in all aspects of the business
* Plan and manage departmental activities in accordance with agreed budgets and timescales
* Promote and manage 5S and Lean activities
Skills and Experience
* Managed and developed a Quality department with in an aerospace engineering environment
* Fully conversant with AS9100 standards
* Able to audit for AS9100 standards
* Knowledge of 5s, Lean, 8D and root cause analysis
* Able to read engineering drawings
Hours of Work & Benefits
* 07.30 – 17.00 Monday – Friday
