JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Home based (Scotland). Some out of hour’s work will be required. Travelling will be required in and outside of working hours. Occasional overnight stays.
Objectives
The primary objective is to achieve sales targets by identifying new business opportunities through a combination of upselling and cross-selling to an existing reseller base and acquiring business from new resellers.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities to support the achievement of sales targets
- Deliver against set sales targets, key business objectives and individual key performance indicators
- Work closely with the Account Managers – both field and desk based
- Produce weekly/monthly sales reports including sales forecasts
- Maintain up to date records on our CRM system
- Create and deliver successful customer presentations and proposals – (at all levels).
- Identify new sales opportunities to maximise growth and revenue within your base of partners and associated territory or market segment
- Train and up-skill partners to deliver maximum sales potential
- Keep up to date of the marketplace / industry in which it operates
- Interface in to our functions e.g., product development and marketing teams, providing market feedback on various aspects including price trends and competitor activity
- Remain vigilant for possible fraudulent activity and if necessary, raise a security incident report using the template accessible via the corporate Intranet
EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrable sales experience in the competitive new mobile telecoms’ environment
- Maintain an up-to-date awareness of the Mobile arena
- Demonstrable evidence of achieving / exceeding targets in the in-direct space
- Field sales experience
- in working within the wholesale marketplace
- Experience of successfully selling into various reseller types and size
- Extensive knowledge of your specialist area
- Solid sales skills including lead generation, pipeline management, forecasting and closing
- Ability to develop strategic relationships at a senior level
- Ability to communicate and generate business at all levels
- Good verbal, written and presentation skills
- Ability to galvanize internal resources to assist in achievement of your sales targets
- Tenacious
- Self-sufficient
- High work rate
- Good Product knowledge of Mobile and in any of the following areas, of at least an overview level, would be highly beneficial; o Broadband, EFM and Leased Line services o Cloud/hosted Telephony o Data SD-WANs o WLR, SIP, CPS & NTS
