Residential Support Workers

Salary: £26,000 – £35,100 per year

Are you an experienced residential worker looking for a new challenge or looking for an additional income alongside your regular work? Prospero Health and social are recruiting agency members of staff to work with a client we support in the West Yorkshire area supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health.

Contract: regular ongoing shift cover

Location: Sheffield

Shift Times: various 12 hour days and nights

PBM & MANUAL HANDLING TRAINING*

Responsibilities:

• Offer care and support to the clients with complex needs
• Ensure safety of the serviced users at all times
• Follow policies and procedures of the company
• Work within the residential care staff team to ensure clients have outstanding support
• Work in a person centred approach
• Follow care plans

Requirements:

• Experience within the social care sector – essential – minimum 6 months
• MUST have Manual handling and/ or PBM training or willing to work towards it – advantage
• Excellent work ethic – Essential
• NVQ Level 3- desirable
• Experience or working with complex behaviours and autism – Advantage
• residential support work experience – desirable
• Full UK driving licence would be an advantage
