Machine Operator

Salary: £26,000 per year

Platinum Personnel Solutions are looking for a part-time machine operator on a permanent basis! This is on behalf of our client based in Parham, Suffolk.

No experience is needed! Full training will be given!

The ideal candidate is expected to be physically fit and have their own transportation due to a lack of public transport to the site.

Salary: £26,000per year

Hours of work: 28 hours per week. This can be four 7-hour shifts or five 5.5-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

Location: Parham, Suffolk

Duties to include:

• To operate the polythene film recycling plant safely and efficiently, maintaining an average hourly throughput of 100kg’s per hour.

• Record daily weights and polymers recycled on the daily log sheet.

• Correctly label recycled tubs with correct polymers used.

• Maintain housekeeping standards of area.

• Ensuring all work is conducted to a high standard with an emphasis on the safety of yourself and all employees.

• Emptying of the baler machine.

• Assist other areas when required.
