Part-Time Payroll Assistant

Salary: £20.4 – £22.8 per hour

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Part-Time Payroll Assistant to join a market leading Technology business on a temporary basis for 12 months, there is a possibility it may be extended. This role is to start as soon as possible so only candidates on very short or no notice will be considered.
Part-Time Payroll Assistant – About the role
The role will provide support to the Payroll Manager and duties will include:
* Accurate processing of monthly payroll
* Produce monthly absence reports and distribute to managers
* Liaise with the HMRC regarding queries
* Manage the flexible benefits renewal process and monthly management of benefits
* Answer payroll & benefit queries
* Assist in payroll and benefits projects
* Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal colleagues
* Other ad hoc duties as required
The successful Part-Time Payroll Assistant will have:
You will have a proven track record of processing monthly payroll and you will be used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines. You must be able to demonstrate a high level of commercial awareness. Strong IT skills including advanced Excel is essential.
