Group Engineering Projects Manager

Salary: £26,000 – £60,000 per year

Our client is a leading, privately owned, highly successful and vastly profitable international, specialist food related manufacturer with 6 sites in the UK and 2 in Europe who have been operating for many years.

An exciting opportunity has developed and the group requires an Engineering Projects Manager based at the site in the Fakenham area. 

Reporting to the Group Chief Engineer the role will be responsible for the end to end delivery of small and medium engineering projects (£50k to £1M).

Working within a Group Engineering team of 4 you will have the following key responsibilities:

• Asset Review/Site Support
• Project Scope
• Project Outline
• Project Delivery
• Technical/Compliance
• Management
• Project Completion

We are looking for an engineer with the following:

• Essential:
  
  • Relevant qualification in Engineering or time served experience is essential.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary manufacturing and engineering projects.
  • Experience dealing with internal and external stake holders.

• Desirable:
  
  • HNC in Engineering preferred but not essential.
  • IOSH/NEBOSH qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Experience/Qualification in project management systems, eg PRINCE2.

The role will be based at the site in North Norfolk area, with some home working and with travel to other sites in the UK.

Salary to suit experience circa £26,000 – £60,000’000, car/car allowance of £7,195, pension 8% match of 85% of basic salary.
