Transport Planner with Cpc

Job Specification
Delegate and plan routes for all drivers
Work closely with the team to ensure all targets are met
Effectively plan all routes to ensure client demands are met whilst being cost effective
Ensure that all drivers/teams are briefed and de-briefed
Delivering excellent customer service
Utilizing internal planning systems to support role
Support and coach others in department to bring them quickly up to speed

Person Specification
Knowledge of the UK road system
Minimum 2years experience working within a similar role
Must hold drivers CPC
Commercial knowledge of trucks
Have an understanding of the cost implications on the business
