Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant- Part Qualified Accountant CIMA/ACCA up to £28k – 12 Month FTC – Manchester

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a experienced Financial Accountant to join a global market leader based in Manchester. The role will be responsible to accurately prepare, develop and analyse financial accounting information in support of the visible financial prosperity of the group. The successful candidate will be Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA with previous experience of working as a Financial Accountant.

Core duties include:

* Prepare monthly consolidated management and financial accounts pack for a portfolio of companies. Pack will include Profit & loss, Balance sheet and monthly reports to HK.
* Review FX assets and liabilities held in conjunction with managing intercompany loans and balances with Hong Kong parent company.
* Support the production of quarterly forecast and annual budgets in collaboration with the Financial Accountant and VP for Finance.
* Diligently ensure all operating and accounting system analytics are accurate and present.
* Adhere to the financial operations of the group, agreed policies, processes and procedures in line with compliance audit requirements, group directive and current legislation
* Act as the main point of contact for all internal and external auditor needs relating to the portfolio of companies.
* Efficiently and professionally respond to external/internal queries, raising other team members awareness where necessary
* Effectively manage internal & external relationships in support of a flawless and cohesive financial service
* Take responsibility for any project you are involved in, throughout the entire process

You will be commercially astute, with exposure to business processes and an understanding of the relationship between operations and P&L. Candidates will have effective and professional communication skills and excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise own workload within set deadlines. You will be proactive with a willingness to challenge traditional ways of working.

To be successful in your application for this role you must be Part Qualified CIMA, ACCA Financial Accountant with experience of working within a similar role. This requires you to be hands on and very commercial. In addition you must have excellent Excel (Advanced) and Oracle systems experience would be a advantage.
