Job Location: Somerset, South West England

Our client manufactures and supplies a range of frozen food products. They currently require a bright Food Sciences graduate to join their team in Somerset to fill a New Product Development Technologist job. We are looking for a creative individual and can offer real career progression within what is initially an entry-level graduate job.

Responsibilities:

The successful graduate will enjoy a varied job role which incorporates a multitude of important tasks and responsibilities in which a committed and initiative-driven approach is required in order to ensure that products are launched on time.

You will be involved throughout the design and manufacturing processes, testing and creating samples and recipes, devising shelf-life trials, overseeing costing/specifications and using your knowledge during the product re-development stage.

Job Requirements:

Educated to degree level in Food Sciences / Food Technology
Committed approach to work
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of how ingredient interacts
