Support Worker

My client is looking to recruit a Support Worker for their service specialising in the care of adults that have learning disabilities.

You will need to have experience, in particular with caring for people with epilepsy.

As a Support Worker, your duties will include:

* Implement objectives designed to achieve the maximum awareness, independence and personal development (physical, intellectual, emotional and social) of each individual
* To offer a high quality residential service to the service users
* To understand and respond to the specific needs of service users with Autistic Spectrum Condition.
* Respect the rights and dignity of service users whilst seeking to ensure their behaviour doesn’t harm themselves or others

The shifts will be Monday to Friday, 730am – 430pm.

This is a full time permanent role and the salary is £26,000.
