Warehouse Assistant

Overview
Our client has an immediate requirement to appoint a Warehouse Assistant to join their Warehouse / Despatch / Shipping Team, on a permanent basis.

Role
Warehouse Assistant whose responsibilities will include;
 Operating Counter Balance and Reach Fork Lift Truck
 Receiving stock from main suppliers.
 Picking customer orders
 General warehouse duties.
 Loading company vehicles for delivery to customers.
 Working as part of a team / alone.
 Working to deadlines.
 Audits / computerised stock systems
 Working to Health & Safety requirements; First Aid Training.
 Monitoring stock levels

Experience Required
 Qualified on Counter Balance and ideally Reach Fork Lift Truck
 Experience of working in a similar role within a manufacturing / warehousing environment
 Experience of Warehousing / Goods In / Goods Out / Shipping
 Experience of computerized stock systems

Remuneration
 £26,000 per year (Inclusive of holiday pay)
 Continental Shift pattern (Dayshift but including weekend work)
