Insight are offering an exciting opportunity for a Partner Account Manager to be based in our Uxbridge office.
The Partner Account Manager role is a proactive partner management and sales role with a view to managing Insights relationship with its partners and maximising funding available for promotion. In addition, a major part of the role is to develop business relationships with new partners and increase the overall marketing funding available to Insight.
The main commodity that the PAM sells is Insight itself. Specifically the potential that exists within insight for partners to sell and market their products to a greater degree than they are currently doing. It is vital therefore that the PAM understands which aspects of our company can influence a partners sales performance and marketing impact. This knowledge is acquired with a view to understanding how best to stimulate a vendors sales and then to effectively communicate this information to the vendor.
Key responsibilities & tasks are:
To manage existing partners accounts with a view to maximising vendor sales and MDF (marketing development funds).
To look for and develop business relationships with new partners.
To effectively communicate any and all available marketing, internal, external and other activities to partners.
To be able to think creatively and constructively to develop sound business plans for partners.
To help execute on partners marketing plans and ensure that relevant departments follow through on their responsibilities.
To negotiate with assigned partners on all levels of funding with a view to maximising income.
To recommend and advise partners on the best use of available funds to maximise vendor ROI (return on investment).
To identify additional marketing activities, which can either directly or indirectly, positively effect partner sales / funding.
To organise and coordinate all contracts and paperwork associated with marketing and partner funding commitments.
To make the business aware of any issues or problems that can or will effect potential or future funding, as and when you become aware of them.
To work alongside product management, Marketing & E-Commerce teams ensuring that the relevant people are informed / involved / updated on relevant partner issues / info.
