Liberty CL Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with a leading distributor in recruiting a Logistics Manager.

The salary is up to £48,000P/A, depending on experience, plus numerous company benefits, including; 25 days holiday and more!

The main purpose of this role is to support senior management and play a critical role in the profitability of the depot. You will be involved in the overall business operations and strive towards the goal of the depot in ensuring customer excellence, financial targets are met and continuous business growth.

You will be responsible for effective team management, promoting health and safety in the workplace and overall planning and organisation of workloads.

You will be tasked with ensuring quality control measures are in place, working with other departments towards approved project plans and general administration on site, including support of HR requirements.

As an individual, it is essential that you have previous experience operating at a similar level and extensive logistics knowledge.

Any knowledge of logistics, transport or warehousing in healthcare sectors, such as; NHS, medical devices, pharmaceutical or life sciences would be a huge advantage!

You will need excellent working knowledge of H&S practices, a continuous improvement mind-set and excellent communication skills. You will also need to be resilient, tenacious and keen to lead by example.

This is a full-time, permanent role. The core depot hours are 6am – 6pm and this is a 40-hour contract. Your hours would be worked within this timeframe.
