Production Engineer Shift Leader

Production Engineer – Shift Leader – a new challenge.

Are you looking to maybe take a step up from the shop floor in general and want to take on a new challenge and take on some extra responsibility? This position of Production Engineer – Team Leader could be just what you need to move forward.

This position will be working with and reporting to the Machine Shop Manager helping to run the shop floor and make sure that everything runs smoothly.

As The Production Engineer – Team Leader you will be assisting in the;
Allocation of workloads
Overseeing the machine shop
Making sure that quality is of a high standard
lean manufacturing
set up reductions
cost savings

You will need to be apprentice trained or time served.
You MUST have experience within a machine shop environment.
You MUST be able to program via Fanuc
You need to be able to use CAM packages ideally Edge Cam software but other packages WILL be considered.

Monday to Friday
