We’re looking for an ASP.NET developer to maintain and develop new features for the flagship product.

Role overview

Our client is are industry leaders in software solutions for the Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry. With 4 SaaS products, over 200 clients, and 13k daily users, they are a hugely successful and profitable technology company, who continue to enjoy rapid growth and now have a team of 40, split across the UK and Ireland.

The role of an ASP.NET Application developer will be to work with a variety of technologies on a long-established suite of products which support financial planning and project management tools. You will be maintaining existing software and developing new functionality for our flagship product.

Skills and experience:

• Confident verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate complex development concepts in non-technical terms.
• Excellent team working skills and a positive, pro-active attitude.
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong background in.Net Development
• Able to create technical solutions delivered to specification in a project led environment
• Proficient knowledge in MSSQL
• Experience with hosting in Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft C#.NET Framework 4.7+
• Proficiency with Web Forms
• Proficiency using Classic ASP
• Proficiency using JavaScript
• Proficiency using HTML5 & CSS

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining existing software and code bases.
• Developing new functionality.
• Following the development lifecycle from conception to finished solution.
• Work as an effective member of an Agile team.
• You will deal with a variety of problems and sometimes have to decide which solution is best.
• Working alongside Cubic Interactive’s support and Customer Experience team to resolve issues.
• Providing guidance to the business on technical issues.
