Multiple award winning digital marketing agency urgently requires an ASP.Net / C# Web Developer with strong all round programming skills in ASP.Net 3.5 / 4.0, C#, SQL Server 2005, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS to provide expert.Net programming skills to an existing web development team based in central London. You should be comfortable working across the full development lifecycle, have a genuine interest in technology and be keen to work on exciting mobile, social and web application development projects.

All projects will adopt cutting edge web technology with a SQL Server database and it is therefore essential to be able to utilise your previous experience in a Web Services / Web Development environment. This will also involve a real sense of being able to think on your feet and deliver under pressurised working environments.

Developing within multiple projects at any one time, the successful ASP.Net / C# Web Developer must have excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, as well as the ability to communicate to a high standard at all levels.

Responsibilities
• Reporting to the Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for producing.net applications including asp.net websites, social media applications, mobile applications, web services, API’s, MVC applications and windows services.
• Maintenance of existing applications and websites.
• Taking overall responsibility for ensuring timely accurate results across your workload
• Understand and troubleshoot web based server issues. Including setting up IIS, certificates and general problem solving.
• Work with the project management team to understand client requirements and provide timings.

Requirements

• Demonstrable commercial experience and be skilled using in c#, asp.net and MS SQL experience. Good knowledge of the following applications:
o Visual studio 2005/2008/2010
o SQL Management Studio/ SQL Server
o Visual Source Safe/ Team Foundation Server/ other source control.
• Essential technical skills include:
o C# (.net 3.5 and upwards)
o ASP.net and html.
o AJAX
o JavaScript/JQuery
o XSLT and XML
o Web services
o IIS 5+
o SQL/T-SQL
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An understanding or genuine interest in Social Media, Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn
• The ability to get things done in a fast-paced, multi-tasked work environment
• Full product lifecycle experience.
• Structured and clear thinker: ability to prioritise a demanding workload and service multiple clients
• Drive to understand the impact to client and technical departments
