Full Time – Monday to Friday 09.00am – 17.30pm
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Estates Management Surveyor to join their asset management and property services division. You must be experience and be a member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Full job description available but basic overview:
* To be the lead in the operation of Estates Management function delivering a comprehensive and professional Estate Management Service for the Borough that is proactive and innovative and in line with the Borough’s and Service Unit’s objectives and Asset Management Plan, maximising property utilisation and financial return from the Borough’s assets.
* To ensure that these Estate Management Services are provided in a customer focused, quality, timely, competitive and cost effective manner.
* To contribute to the successful delivery of the Unit’s aims, objectives and actions in respect of Estate Management matters.
* Providing professional advice to the Borough’s Asset Management Planning team including input into options appraisals and feasibility studies using detailed investment appraisal techniques
* Ensure that a record of a paper or electronic of the Lettings Schedule is actively and accurately maintained and that dates and events are proactively reported and acted upon in accordance with good estate management practice.
CV must show evidence of:
* Evidence of previous experience and educted to degree level in Surveying
* Good working knowledge of Landlord and Tenant law
* A thorough understanding of the appraisal of investment and development property
* Understanding and good working knowledge of computerised property management and IT systems
* Ability to respond to and manage change
* Proven and demonstrable ability to prepare reports
* Ability to develop and monitor budgets
* Proven ability to find identify potential problems and provide creative solutions and to implement those solutions
* Effective presentation skills
* Ability to work on own initiative
Candidates must hold:
* Valid passport or full birth certificate
* 2 years previous employment reference history
* Evidence of previous experience in a similar role must be shown within CV.
