Job Title: Senior Drug Safety and Risk Management Specialist

Length of Assignment: 12 months

Hourly Pay: £30 – £34.2 (PAYE only)

Location: Uxbridge

The successful candidate will have a scientific or pharmaceutical degree and at least 3 years pharmacovigilance experience. You will have a knowledge of medial terminology and the ability to summarise medical information, it is essential that you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.

Your responsibilities will be many and varied the will include:

* Overseeing and leading local pharmacovigilance related activities, supporting the Head of Drug Safety and Risk Management

* Ensure compliance with local and international regulations along with company standards

* Contribute effectively to the Worldwide Patient Safety Network

* Accurately and thoroughly training and mentoring junior members of staff to ensure compliance within the Drug Safety and Risk Management department

* Represent the department within the affiliates, acting as a point of reference internally for queries

* Assist in the development of the Drug Safety and Risk Management function
